  • I would like to register on the portal. How much does it cost?

    Nothing, it’s free. You can register for free and enjoy the services of youbendo, search for real estate, make requests. You will never pay subscriptions or commissions

  • By making a request through the site, will I have to pay commissions?

    Absolutely not. Every kind of transaction takes place directly with the owner of the property. The youbendo contact platform is free and its purpose is to facilitate the exchange of information as safely as possible

  • How do I contact owners on youbendo?

    Directly. By looking at the listing of a property, you can find several methods to contact the owner: phone, whatsapp, facebook, request through the portal via email or internal chat

  • The payment by bank transfer is sent directly to the owner?

    Yes. The guest, upon receipt of the IBAN, is invited to send the agreed payment directly to the owner. youbendo has no control over either the transaction or any other method of payment

  • The portal guarantees the truthfulness of the information about properties?

    We can not guarantee that the information entered by the owners themselves to be reliable. For this reason it is advisable to take direct contact with the owner and always use traceable forms of payment in order to avoid scams

  • How does the portal evaluate the reliability of the properties’s data?

    Our goal is to provide users with an overview as complete as possible: the owners are asked to provide information such as IBAN, Facebook account, telephone contacts and accurate descriptions of the properties. We reward the seniority of ads placed, and we count on feedback from guests. The goal is to increase more and more the probability that the data is reliable

  • The owner of a property is behaving in a suspicious way. What can I do?

    Online scams are a growing practice.
    In the event that you are aware of a fraud attempt by a registered user, you are strongly encouraged to submit a report using the direct link that says "Warning to scams, report it now" that you find on the tab of each individual Property published on the portal.
    At the same time, it is recommended not to abuse this practice and provide as comprehensive information as possible to justify the user’s immediate departure (usually reporting is processed in a few hours).
    Depending on the case, you will be ignored or, wherever the opportunity arises, pursue intimidating reports that are considered completely unfounded, pretestuous and defamatory

FOR THE OWNERS

  • The publication of the properties on the portal is free of charge?

    Yes, there are no publishing or management fees. You can publish your properties without limits, indefinitely.

  • Requests made through the portal are subjected to any fees payment?

    +

    No, the portal does not provide any kind of intermediary between the parties. This means that guests contact the owner directly, taking direct agreements. youbendo provides a free of charge online platform to facilitate communication and to ensure the privacy of the parties during the initial phase

  • There are paid ways to place my property among the first?

    No. Ads of properties are valued and shown in search results based on parameters that are captured and updated in real time, continuously. The algorithm that adjusts the ad position rewards the most beautiful, updated, most popular properties

  • How long does it take to insert a property on youbendo?

    +

    A few minutes in most cases. The process is entirely automatic, except in cases where there is some information to check. We constantly work to make the publishing and ad management panels as easy as possible

  • Can I insert more ads of the same property?

    +

    No. Duplicated ads are automatically deleted. Remember, you can manage your property for both holiday and yearly rentals from the same control panel

  • Is it convenient to repeatedly delete and republish an ad?

    +

    No. You can do that, but it does not suit you. The basic concept is simple: the oldest is the insertion date, the greater its credibility and authority. Delete and repost your ad will penalize you in search results. You must, however, frequently update it

  • I have high-definition photographs, but my internet connection is slow. What can I do?

    You can send them as they are! Images are compressed on your computer or on your phone device before being sent to our server. Do not worry about the size or format, our algorithms take care

  • The portal offers some form of insurance for transactions?

    +

    The property address must be selected from the menu that appears when you start to type the first words. In case it does not contain results, the address is not yet surveyed: you need to try the main streets nearby. After selecting the address, you will see a map where you can precisely specify the location of the property.

  • I just posted a property for seasonal rental. The weekly prices are already defined. Why?

    Based on the information you provided, we try to guess the distribution of weekly rates throughout the year to save you time. Edit them to your liking and make available the periods you’re interested in renting

  • The owner is asked to indicate their IBAN. Why?

    +

    The IBAN coordinates can be used if the owner receives a contact request. In this case, the guest gets the bank information faster, after the confirmation of the owner

CONTACT PLATFORM

  • How does the youbendo contact platform work?

    +

    All communications go directly between the parties.
    Guest sends a request to the owner, who evaluates whether to accept or reject it.
    The owner, at this first stage, has the option to change the price of the stay, apply discounts or increases based on new arrangements and/or additional services required.
    The owner, accepting the request, has the possibility to apply for a deposit payment to make the request.
    The guest is then invited to definitively confirm the request to complete the procedure.
    Both the owner and the guest have the ability to communicate in real time via the internal chat.
    Both the owner and the guest have the right to cancel the request at any time.
    Any penalties and/or arrangements on the refund of cancellation in case of cancellation are determined directly between the owner and the guest

  • I would like to use the portal chat to agree and ask for information. How can I do?

    In order to communicate in real time, the guest must make a request for a facility placed on the portal. From now on you will be able to start a chat between the parties in order to get more information and to know their needs. Being a private conversation, the portal has no power of moderation or control over it

  • I’m being harassed/intimidated by a user through the chat and I want to block it. How can I do?

    Each user in the portal has the ability to block other users who are considered as uncomfortable or unhappy directly from the chat or from the request page using the appropriate buttons

  • I blocked a user. What is involved?

    +

    The blocked user will in no way be able to contact you: you will not be able to see your private contact information, send you a request (if you have posted a property), chat with you. Did you change your mind and want to unlock it? You can remove it from the black list from your settings panel
